I read that the showers on the A380/are limited to 5 minutes. Not sure how anyone can get a shower done in time. Would hate to be stuck in there with no water and covered in bubbles!

you can stop the water, so 5min of water is not veeeery long but you can make it.

re food, I prefer the lounge, eat in the lounge and maybe just a starter on board

You brought up my next thought... Where is the food better ? The lounge or onboard? There is only so much I can eat...want to plan strategically. I'm not a big drinker.

By far the lounge (a la carte only) imho.

You can stop the water and there's a timer/clock inside the shower, like a fuel gauge.

On empty flights (in F) I've heard of them resetting it and giving you an extra 5 minutes. And you can enjoy the massive F bathrooms for longer while you blowdry your hair and observe yourself in all your glory in the floor to ceiling mirror.

I'd go for the longer sector unless you are never going to experience the A380 f at somepoint.

Don't forget the floor is heated for those who like to prance :D

However, also don't forget if you start to make a lot of noise, the CSA might have to come in and see what you're doing - and yes, all aircraft lavatories can be unlocked from the outside ;)
