... PS - the dude in the second photo brought his tripod into the lav???
It also looks like, he has a remote control. I guess that some FAs have lots of funny tales about the showers !!! |

That is YOUR understanding of private. Not everyone's.
When a restaurants offers a "private table", do you expect total privacy? Or a "private seating area" at the theatre. ... the list goes on. |
Flying back to Man in November I got chatting to some girl at the bar and mentioned that there are showers in First, she did not believe me so I asked the purser if I could show her, was told as First was almost empty it would be ok as long as she went back to J straight away.
Anyway.....started showing her around the shower suite and the purser recommended we keep the door open at all times to ensure no funny business went on...haha |

The view from the camera is purely a cabin overview only and does not peer into 3E/F suites. In the first class cabin there is another view taken from 1E/F and together they cover the cabin. Though the pilots are mostly interested in watching the cameras within the first class galley to check that the cabin crew are not eating first class food without offering them first!
I'm in a A388 cabin, and I don't see any camera on 1E/F. Sorry if the photo is dark, all blinds are down. |

You are probably talking about B777 cabin ?

Yes indeed. The 3E/F one is unmistakable. I was looking for the 1E/F one Descending was referring to.

My apologies, I have been out of EK for about a year and my memory is already getting foggy. I may have been wrong in saying there was a camera positioned in the forward bulkhead aswell. With the current camera only facing forward, this leaves 4A/K in a black hole which is why I thought there was a second view for the first class cabin.

Yeah you lose a window, but at least you can adjust the old chap without fear that someone's watching your every move. |
