Last time we flew into BKK we got fast track cards despite being in Y. Both myself and my wife (I'm gold she's silver) I've never been given one before in Y despite asking so must have got lucky. Shame we were travelling straight through to Koh Samui but have saved them for next time!

The fast track card that works the best in DAC looks exactly like a U.S. $20 bill. It usually includes free coffee & a cigarette in the immigration office while the officer goes and gets the stamp :D
