Haha didn't know there was one will go there. FYI travelling with my wife. I'm into Dom P and Sushi ;)
Best sushi in Tsukiji market. You never ate sushi before. If you really need your daily DomPe dose, order DomPe rose to blend in Roppongi. I personally fancy much more Cristal Roederer. But not served on EK. In my knowledge, no carrier serves it. Otherwise, I'll trade my EK card right away. :D |
Sushi wise I would recommend heading down to Tsukiji in the morning for breakfast sushi. Trust me it's worth it!
Transport is easy vie the subway. So try to get a hotel near a station (ideally Yamamote line). Besides the usual tourist spots, try to visit some of the back lanes around Ueno & Harajuku. Lot's of interesting things to see, do and eat. |
Thanks for everyone's input, going to stay at the Conrad for 3 nights in Tokyo then Hakone at yamanochya for 2 then to miyajima for 2 and 3 nights at the ritz Carlton in Kyoto. This will easily be the most expensive holiday we've ever done including the f flights!
Any other tips for Hakone or Kyoto most welcome! |
For me personally 2 nights in Miyajima is overkill, take a day trip to Hirsoshima instead and sample the okonomiyaki. The Hyatt Regency Kyoto is superb, best service experienced in a really long time and especially the concierge.
