Just another little question if you don`t mind. As this is our first time using Chauffeur Drive could you please advise on tipping the driver? thank you

There are numerous earlier posts on this thread.
Everyone to their own choice-I always tip good drivers in the UK,maybe a £5 for a short trip-more if 50 miles.
and
normally AED25 in Dubai
but I would never tip in other Countries where tipping is not common, such as Japan

I usually tip the driver around 40-50 AED whenever I arrive in DXB, however considering you're flying to BKK, somebody else may be able to shed some light on what is an appropriate amount for the driver.

Have a safe flight.
Cheers

Tipping isn't expected in most circumstances in Australia so I've never done that here. In the UK I usually don't since they make much better money than a taxi driver for the equivalent work.

I got an Opel Insignia the other day on arrival in LIS on a Y Flex Plus that I upgraded to J.

It was actually a very nice car and I thought it was a Merc or an Audi till I got out and checked at destination and realised.

Was it the estate or the saloon? I just googled it and it's a car I certainly would't mind being chauffeured in.

Cheers for the tip btw, main post has been updated.

It was a saloon. I had to wait 20 mins for it so I think I was forgotten.

I had an Audi A6 for pick up in JNB, on same Y ticket upgraded with miles.

What is the shortest distance one can get a car for?

BTW - the UK numbers need changing from 0844 xxxx to 0344 xxxxxx

It is now illegal in Europe for companies to use just a premium rate numbers for customer numbers - must start with an 01x 02x 03x or a mobile or freephone number .
