Tactics for getting seats together
I'm on EK 3704 on the 8th Nov and have 10b whilst Mrs M3RED is in 8E.
Is it best to not reserve seats and hope they put is in 6j and k? |
Since you are in 10B (aisle) there's a good chance 8D (aisle) may switch with you unless they want to be close to 8B.
MRU/DXB is a very couple/family flight (guestimate), so you can expect a lot musical chairs. |
If you ask at check-in, they may shuffle you around if the person sitting next to you is travelling alone and hasn't got his BP yet.
Or as extra said, just ask them to swap. |
I was thinking of trying to get row 6 which is blocked until t-3

Best idea is to go to the airport early then...

Reminds me of an incident just after our marriage. Flying into AMS from MAA, we both got separate seats ( didn't do online checkin aswell ) . With a genuine smile on face I told the check-in staff that they just can't do this on our first trip after marriage, he laughed out and after few minutes I was handed over two business class tickets for our MAA-DXB flight.
Can't get better.. ;) |
