Thanks - I am a bit confused

Thanks Zol

We just did the Akl - Melb leg in 1st and got Chauffer drive.

I thought as a 1st pax you got it regardless of flight length.

Oh well not much reason to spend the extra over busines for the short hop.

I am traveling on EK between Hong Kong and Bangkok in J next month and when issuing my ticket over the phone the agent asked me if I would like a chauffeur drive and I said sure, to my understanding itineraries only between HKG and BKK are not eligible for chauffeur drive so I thought the agent was making a mistake or they changed the rules either way I was ecstatic. However, few minutes later the agent came back to me and apologized and said I was ineligible due to my itinerary as the system itself rejected the request. Has anyone had experience in successfully getting a chauffeur drive on this itinerary?

I'm flying HKG-BKK (Y), stop over, BKK-SYD(J) next month. I have the Chauffeur service in BKK for pickup... now I upgraded the HKG-BKK leg, and got the Chauffeur service for drop off... so I'll say that if you got another leg after BKK, you'll get it, if not... it might be no.

I flew SYD - BKK in Y and continued BKK - HKG in revenue F after a 6 hour lay over last year. The call center agent ask me if I wanted to use the Chauffeur drive service upon arrival in
HKG. The agent later apologised and said that Chauffeur drive service is not available for BKK - HKG bookings. In my opinion not much point paying the extra for F (over J) if this service is not available on this sector.

Is that 1 ticket or 2 separate tickets?

I flew BKK-HKG with a 6hr stopover to HKG-DXB-MAN in April in J (HKG-DXB F) and in MMB I could not book the chauffer drive in BKK but phoning Emirates allowed me to

This is really weird because when you got a 2-3 hours layover in Dubai, you can even book a chauffeur for the DXB stop
