If you are online to be able to keep posting updates, why can you not use skype on that device?

I had 4% battery on the iPad, nothing on the iPhone and no charger, got one from reception now and it's on charge so I can Skype now but still no b****y luggage!

Thanks for the heads up, I won't get up as early. Anyway still no bags, they've now sent all 600 bags to where they need to be and no sign of ours, they had our silver baggage tags on so not sure where they went, what should they be offering if still no bags in the morning because at that point I'd have been without the bags for 24 hours already.

You should be able to put a claim in for necessities purchased; you might want to check whether your travel insurance covers you for delayed baggage

I was on this flight as well, just travelling mel-akl (economy). Unbearable dealing with the lack of information. AAAghhh. I know the staff on the ground were doing their best, but a few more announcements about what was happening wouldnt have gone amiss.

I too am without luggage today. Have turned up to work with no makeup on... can you imagine how scary that is for people ! :)
