We said nude... And here he is dressed.

He was on my flight once, nice guy, but short.

They're all short when at rest ... I'm sure George is no different :p

On a recent long flight (not with EK) I decided to watch – or more accurately rewatch, as I'd seen it once before – Love Actually, and three things struck me:
1. The amount of cutting, even though this was released with a non-restrictive 'M' rating
2. The number of scenes which had been reshot with different and more 'mild' dialogue
3. That the whole movie still hung together quite well, despite the cuts, due to its episodic nature.

As one would imagine, the entire storyline between Martin Freeman and the young blonde girl, who meet as stand-ins on a porn movie set, was removed. Which means every instance of them was gone. But because of how the movie is structured, there was no way you'd notice anything missing (in fact my girlfriend saw this 'edited' version some years back and had no idea this extra plotline even existed).

But the scene where the young bloke who's setting off to visit America opens his suitcase to reveal a pile of condoms? Cut. The ending with Bill Nighy and his 'fat manager'? Bill suggests they "get drunk and watch TV all night" (not "get drunk and watch porn", which I admit still does sound a bit odd to me!). Quite a few others struck me as I was watching - a scene would end and I'd think "Hang on, wasn't there some other bit..?".

I prefer to 'BYO entertainment' when I fly, loading up my MacBook or iPad with downloaded shows, but quickly learned that Game of Thrones can push the envelope of seatmate acceptability!

Putting in a reminder to watch Looper tomorrow :D:p

With great sadness, I am reporting that Looper, or at least the version shown on EK 007 today, had the interesting portions pixelated / blurred out.

I blame DYKWIA for alerting EK with his post :p

Thinking of Clooney.... I remember watching 'The American' on my iPad on an Easyjet flight a couple of years ago. That has some 'interesting' scenes that weren't really appropriate for watching in public.

I like the "special" chair he builds in "Burn after Reading"... Haven't watched it on a flight so don't know if it survived the censor's knife.

No looper nor Ted , but Hitchcock...

Stand to be corrected... looper is here.

But they have masked all the racy words in a french movie.
