Which seat - 1st Class?

Doing my first Emirates flight later in the year. Flying 3 sectors in A380 private suite and 2 in 777 private suite. Which seats do people think are the best in the 2 cabins? Thanks.

On the A380, my favorite seat is 2K. If that's not available, go with 2A. If neither of those are available, I prefer 1K, as I hate rows 3 and 4 bc they are too close to the galley.
On the 777 I prefer seat 1A, or 1K. If you prefer not to be so close to the galley, then take 2A or 2K. There's only 2 rows of F on the 777 so if you want a window seat those are your only choices.
Enjoy your flights!

2K is my favourite seat on the 777's. I've never been on the number one seat. I'm travelling with the missus next month and I've selected 1E and 1F

I've sat in Rows 1,2,3 and 4 on the 380 and frankly, once you close the doors, I haven't noticed any difference.

Some try and avoid row 1 as it is right next to the curtain leading to the showers but it has never bothered me...people don't hang around outside your suite. And you can say you had row 1 on the 380!

If in row 4 with the door open you may hear some noice from the galley but with 3 crew members there, it's not likely to too noisy.

Just avoid the middle seats. Although they have a very good divider to give you privacy it's just more gloomy and you do not have the additional of the side window bins.

I personally choose 4K on an A380 and 2K on 777

I havent been affected by noise from galley and is nice for getting off 1st on arrival

Wouldn't 1A be a better choice when it comes to getting off?

I have not had any issues getting 4K - until I saw this thread wasn't aware that anyone had any issues with it. I did sit in 4A for half a flight when someone collapsed outside 4K and the area was overrun with cabin crew scurrying around

I just am not a fan of the front row, so go for row 2. Row 2 can be better for getting off depending on what door(s) are in use

OK, but ime they always get FC to emnbark/ disembark through the first door almost always when on jetways, and the second door occasionally when parked away from the terminal. Usually more of the former, around 90% of the time.

Not ime though. found that it can just as likely be 2 as 1. anyway, I like 2K more than 1K

K window vs A window

I noticed that many folks who posted here seem to favor K over A, and I'm curious about why. Does it have to do with the arrangement of the seat/suite layout, or the fact that most people are right handed? Other reasons? What's your rationale?

My first EK flight is later this year in F. On AS and other U.S. carriers, I'm always a 2A gal when that seat is available. Should I consider switch hitting to the K side for this trip?

I have no problem with A, and there is absolutely no difference between the A and the K sides, but for some reason I (and many others) prefer 2K on the A380. I have no idea why, but we just do haha. Now on the 777 I always prefer 1A. It is also no different from the K side, but I just prefer it for some reason as those have always been my favorite suites on both AC.
Are you on an A380 or a 777?
On the A380 I rarely choose a suite on the A side, I have noticed that when they come by to ask me when I would like to take my shower, they have less choices available then on the K side, and thats even when they ask Skywards gold (soon to be platinum) before everyone else. It must be a coincidence, but its just something I've noticed.

The SEA-DXB segments are 777-200LR, while the DXB-HGK segments are both 777-300ER.

I just read in another thread that 2A was blocked for UMs. That wasn't the case when I picked out my seats ... which I did before I started reading these posts. Now I'm thinking I should go back and switch all 4 segments to 2K.

Somehow I am accustomed to the 1Ak/K so I always get them. I have never been bothered by people walking by and frankly all my flights have barely had a few people.

I was on a 777 and had to take an inside seat, but when I closed the door, it didn't feel any different than all the other seats.

2A is reserved for UMs for the A380. That is why most people pick 2K when on the A380.
