First time ever I did a round trip with Emirates, AMS - SYD through DBX. On the way down on Jan 7 I missed my connection at DBX because of late arrival of the inbound flight and I made a gigantic yet polite fuzz for almost an hour at the transfer desk to get me to SYD asap. They ended up rerouting me through BKK. I refuse to believe though the upgrade on the return flight is to make up for it. Have to say I was mightily impressed by the J experience on an A380. |

We were on the same row but sat apart and someone moved for us so we ended up together. There were 4 op ups and the flight was packed. 2 op ups in a week. Loving ek right now ^ |

Had a few upgrades last year Y and saver Y to J, all between MAN-DXB (both ways) and all en route to/from Tokyo. |
