According to this: http://www.emirates.com/media-centre...t-to-its-fleet, the first frame will be delivered by the end of the month. Looking at the production list, reg. should be A6-EPV and is currently undergoing testing at PAE.

It seems that 77W (2 class) A6-EBL is back in service.

She has been to BAH, LHE and BHX.

You'd think, age wise, EBA would go before EBL.

Just as a side note; the ULR A380 A6-EUE / EUF and EUG are the first to have a cabin lay out F14 C76 Y426 stead of Y399 or Y401.

This is possible because the crest rest area has been moved to the cargo bay.

Yes that's exactly why and is mentioned in an article linked somewhere here

Can you confirm it's from EUE on? The press release says the 85th A380 which would make it EUG on.

That looks like it would release 4 rows of 4 seats each. What other changes are being made?

Will these be the first ones to have the RR Trent 900 engines?

Service periods are sometimes set by the number of cycles, or take offs and landings, a plane has made. If they age in the same way, then the chronologically oldest may not be the first to go.

I don't think so. The original order placed which was to have the Alliance engines was for 90 aircraft. If this still stands the new cabin will be 5 airframes before the new engines.

ZRHMD11 Nov 20, 2016 3:47 am

The first with RR engines will be s/n 225, A6-EUM.

Indeed - if you look here:

https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/a6-ebl

You can see its gone to Poland.

That corrresponds with the 91st airframe comment. 3 times A to Z = 78, plus A to L (12) for a total of 90 with EA engines.

Just an update about the A380 fleet:

A6-EUE, EUF, EUG and EUH are the first ULR with F14 C76 Y426 stead of Y399/401.
This is possible due relocating the crew rest area in the cargo bay.

Next deliveries:

EUI: LR F14 C76 Y429
EUJ, EUK and EUL: ULR F14 C76 Y426
EUM: F14 C76 Y429. From this frame on, all A380 will have RR engines.
EUN, EUO, EUP and EUQ: 2 class LR C58 Y557
EUR: ULR F14 C76 Y426
