Vault the passenger
I was curious as to whether the more experienced users of the 777ER's could recommend the "vault" needed to get "over" a sleeping passenger in the next "bed" (travelling in J).
I like having a window seat (K) but the problem occurs when my stretching legs moments coincide with my neighbour in the J row seat being in the land of nod. And on the 14 hour non-stop from DXB to BNE, those moments do occur.
Is a cartwheel, forward roll or jump (in my dreams!!) more appropriate.
I am looking for a means of causing minimum disturbance to my neighbour and minimum embarrassment to me.
Otherwise it might have to be the centre aisle (F) seats for me.
Thank you.

This is a dooozzy my friend, what i find works is a BRACE yourself and then a big massive step. (think monty python ministry of silly walks)
If you can get the attention of the person on the other side of the isle that would be an advantage as then there wont be so many Oh Im sorry when you cant stop.
Fly regional asia where the seats seem to be on auto go to sleep 1 minute befor the flight crew rotates for take off and you get used to it, but I knew you already knew that. Next time I will try the CARTWEEL.
Good honest question that we all need to know.

I have found it to be much easier to get out from the bulkhead. Especially in Row 8 on the 3-class 77W where the B/J seats stick out into the aisle a bit. One large step, and you can get into the aisle. Two, and you're in the loo!

Those are my preferred seats when traveling alone. Greater degree of privacy also, with the longer divider between the aisle and window seats.

Once upon a time, not so long ago... was trevelling economy on an aisle seat and woke up twice on the flight with the elder Chinese gentleman from the next seat sitting on my lap. In order to to not wake me up to go for a walk he just climbed over me.
