If someone wants to you to guest them in then give them your phone number . Ask them to call you as soon as they reach the lounge. Just tell the lounge dragon that you want to guest them in. They will ask for their boarding pass (usually)

In smaller lounges just leave a message with the lounge dragon that Mr X will be arriving later and that you would like to guest them in. Obviously this wouldn't work in bigger lounges like DXB but has always worked in smaller lounges like LGW MAN DEL etc.

Thank you. I'm not 100% happy at giving my phone number out to a stranger (and there is the significant charge for receiveing calls overseas (my employer doesn't provide me with a mobile, I have to use my own)) but would be happyier to give email. Would that work?

Email should be fine if you have data roaming. specifically ask the people I am guesting to text me on my mobile as receiving SMS while abroad is usually free on UK mobiles.

Regarding numbers. I have a spare phone ( one of those oldies with a black and white screen with a PAYG Sim inside). I use this along with my smartphone while travelling as my smartphone usually runs out of juice (i usually forget to charge on the aircraft or lounge) plus the battery lasts for a week on standby on the old phone.

Good idea, I'll do that.

A week or so should be ok. If you have had no replies then bump up the thread a few days before as well and put a new request.

Your profile shows you as Skywards Gold. As such you are entitled to use these lounges without being guested in.

In fact, you may take a guest in as long as they are travelling on the same flight(s) as you.

Hi FT.

I need more than 1 guest, hence the request. Cheers

Are you looking for lounge access at PVG or DXB???

Lounge access for guests is based on departing flight and not arriving flight.

Whch flight are you connecting to from DXB?

Hello,
My flight leaves PVG at 0715-1205 EK 305 on 06/29,
I am connecting to flight EK143 to MAD at 1425,
Lounge access in both airports would be really great, but really anything is ok,
Thank you very much in advance!!!
