Does anyone have an update on the new EK lounge at SFO? I know it will be in the A-Terminal and will take over the old transit room.

Thanks Asahi!

Couple of questions and a comment:

1) I thought DEL was a dedicated EK lounge? How long ago were you there?

2) The HKG lounge looks really big. Is this a new/ expanded lounge that the one known for over crowding?

3) Strangely the Admirals Club looks the best out of all those lounges to me!

1) in DEL only partner lounge. i was there in february for 2 hours.

2) this is the original lounge. no new or expanded.

3) yes, the admirals club was wonderful

With those pictures you don't need to speak any language, thanks for sharing and making me realise how much I miss flying on a proper airline (this week consists of WW, EZY, and FR not nice!)

Awesome pictures Asahi!

The Asahi on tap in Tokyo lounge looks so enticing.

The Prague lounge looks woefully miserable though. Red Label??!!

I'm on EK 18 from MAN .I went to MAN more than 3 hours before the flight(being a good boy and I thought I'll get some nice photos of the MAN lounge)

Unfortunately the day didnt start off well!!.Its not Emirates fault, but T1 at MAN had to be evacuated due to a 'security incident'. I had to check in at T2, clear security there and was then sent to the Escape lounge at T2. Then we were taken in a bus to T1 once we got the all clear from T1.Reached T1 airside and now finally reached the emirates lounge at T1

MAN lounge photos

Reception area. 'Dom' standing on the left side and the lovely Lisa at reception. As I mentioned earlier they had to change terminals at the last minute and the team handled the problem extremely well. 'Dan' the chef is not in this photo. I mentioned to Lisa about the forum and she gave me a brochure on the A380.

GLA offering is a gawd awful communal "skylounge" lounge with hundreds of holidaymakers and screaming children. Maybe the second daily would be incentive to snatch the old BMI lounge facilities given that more domestic gates will be used for international deps and can be directly linked from int departures

Does anyone know which lounge EK uses in AMS? It is not listed on their site.

I suspect Servisair? Although I would feel sorry for the F passengers!

Just passing through LHR T3 lounge.

The room full of achingly slow computers has gone!

To be replaced by further dining space!!

How will I kill time waiting for FT to chunter through those retro desktops now??

I am distraught.

Seriously though, is this happening across the rest of the lounge network, or is this LHR scaling up capacity to deal with the new 380 flights?
