Unoffical - EK Website Glitches Thread.
 
I seem to have a knack coming across every glitch on the EK website... in the past it has been "incomplete bookigns".

Today's episode brings me the "bait and switch"... tried pricing out a flight via the best price option. I select the fare I want in the matrix, review the itinerary and instead of being given the Ticketing Option screen I get a review of the fare again with a "Sorry, the flight has been closed for booking" message.

Right. Flight is next month, not a few hours from now.

But wait, if I go book "By Schedule" I can pick the flights and get it to the payment screen... but the fare is $80.00 more. So it's not really closed for booking.

Go back and try By Price... same price as the first time, but still will not let me purchase it!

Sounds like an AVS synch issue.

I am having a problem with the emirates website too.I was trying to book a chauffer online plus upgrade myself using manage my booking option.The page would not load,i have been trying to for a few days now.

I am also experiencing problames with MMB. I logged on to check if anyone else was having issues! In my case, MMB will not allow me to re-select seating on a particular segment of my trip...strange!

Same thing here regarding MMB, I'm having trouble selecting seats and upgrading.

I have seen this in the past where a flight's timing has been changed. As there is a change you must be notified and if Emirates haven't notified you yet the system won't let you make the changes. A phone call to Emirates soon fixes it if this is the cause.

Actually that's not the issue, I got another booking which is fine, The booking I got changed when I called Emirates to request an upgrade to business using miles, So what they did is that they had me put in the waitlist for business class on the same flight, so now I got a flight which is confirmed and the same flight on the waiting list but on business, They told me that this would prioritize your upgrade, 1st time this is happening to me.

yep me too, the website is still playing up, I am trying to manage my booking and the site has had technical problems for 2 days now, flying this afternoon!

I too am having problems with their website for the last few days.

Trying to book some trips for March, April, May and June, I always book by Schedule, once I have my picked my outbound flights and selected my inbound flights, I keep getting a message that the seat availability has changed and to reselect my inbound flights and book by schedule, which I'm already doing.

Tried to change my inbound flights to the same destination. Also tried various UK departure points but always the same result.

Anybody else having the same problems. Also tried their mobile site today from my I-phone same results.

When is emirates bringing out a iphone timetable application. ( same as the desktop timetable software ).
I know that the emirates website iphone compatible is but I’m waiting for a stand alone iphone application.

Have you contacted them to let them know there is a problem? I've always had things sorted fairly quickly once they are aware of a specific issue.

Had a problem completing the booking part. Not so much emirates problem but more of a mastercard issue at the last stage with their secure code program. Had to refresh several times as the page kept on timing out. Hope i havent been charged each time i refreshed it.
