Thanks. That's what the AA agent just told me. EF still shows J as economy although you can specify E.
We have updated our listing for LY under the Award & Upgrade search to reflect E as the Coach Award class. We also have changed any Pending J class Flight Alerts for departures Nov 1 or after to E class.

You can use the Wandering Aramean tool to look up El Al availability.
