flight to Ams one 18th Jul
My wife and my son will fly on the W class on the 18th
I saw on the map that the 772 will have 2 and 3 rows as business
togther with rows 10-11.
looks like 12-14 will be Y in C class seats
the W + partner deal is so good I don't want to downgrade them to Y
and make sure they have seats on rows 12-14.
what do you think?

After all, it’s a short flight, and the seat is more important then the slightly better meal they will get in C.
Save your bucks...
Edited to add: Having said that though, what's the price difference between getting two economy tickets for them, and the W special companion offer?

Lior, if you can guarantee they will be operating part of the C section as Y, and you can reserve these seats for them in advance I would do it.

1. For the obvious reason on keeping them solely for GL/PL, full fare
2. So that no one makes a decision, like the one u are trying to make based on the configuration of the a/c. Its summer, and its LY - What are the chances the a/c will be a 763 at the gate?

Well that might be true on paper, but not in theory.
I have mentioned this before, but unless something has changed in policy recently, I have had my fair share of occasions where I found myself as a GL sitting in Y while C was operating as Y full of people who wouldnt know what a Gold card or full fare ticket looks like.
This is true.

you are all right
I don't want to take chance and ELAL will change the aircraft.
Now I am making sure that they will sit in the F cabin.
9( rows 2 and 3 in F are kept for PL/GL and family members of the Elal people :-)
