Service problems
The phone menu for Matmid members is very unfriendly
I finally was "serviced" by someone names Ortal who needs to upgrade her manners. She mainly barked at me, and when we finally were able to book my flight she irresponsibly made no effort to get my new email address correctly spelled. As a result, no tickets. The Matmid site does not recognize the password that was valid on the phone two days ago, so I can't get in to fix it. "Forgot your password?" tab is sending the notice to the misspelled address. Now I have payed for tickets I cannot retrieve. Anyone out there offer any help in this totally unnecessary hassle? Needless to say, this is not "Frequent Flyer" service acceptable anywhere in the world. Alan Flashman MD |
I'm going to move this along to the El Al forum in hopes of finding you some help.

Hi Alan,
Welcome to FT! Try sending a message to EL AL Rep. Where are you based? Is there a local el al office you can call? |

The website password and the phone password are two separate things. Annoying, plus they force you to change it every 6 months which is ridiculous (although that is not unique to LY when it comes to Israeli companies). |
What?! Bad service from an Israeli company?! I'm shocked!
