security check Queue in TLV for F passengers

Hi all,

I hardly fly ELAL anymore but flew yesterday (monday morning) with them

The security line was around 30 minutes long for F J King David etc...

Is this normal for a Monday morning... After a long weekend everyone flying back to work?

What should I have done, barge to the front and say "I'm in paid F let me through:)
Thanks

Did you got to the airport by yourself ?
If not the driver was suppose to notify Sherut Shalom.
If i were you i would call Sherut Shalom and ask them to come and pick me...

And yes, Sunday Night/Monday Morning - People go to work....

I had to return my car so didn't get picked up.

My rant under 'F at LHR' - No diffrence if you are F , C or Y on a Gold card - even if you have paid £2k+ you still have to wait in line. Poor show by LY. (Assuming you are not on an F fully paid ticket where you are bypassed through)

Hallas..., Stop Whining!
First Class service comes with Personal Representative service, Also with a pickup service from home/office to the airport with a BMW 7 Series.
Once the driver get to the airport with you he calls Sherut Shalom, Then someone comes (The PR) and takes your thru security to the First Class checking counter.

I dont know how you fly 20 times in First without doing it this way...,
You should probably need to do some homework, how everyone else do get the service and you dont...

The guy explain that he came alone to the airport, EL-AL Psychic Corps were probably on vacation that day and this is why no one senses him in the terminal... in such situation the best way is to call sherut shalom and notify them.

I have only once flown form TLV in paid First with a driver included. However I have often flown in A class created from I class + points and arrived at the airport in my own transport, and whenever I have got near the checkins I have got straight through, whatever the length of the queue. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes.

I assume you only get the driver with revenue bookings?

Full F Fare, or if you are TPL, A Class as well...
If you get A o upgrade in advance, you should call sherut shalom upon arrival to the airport...

I believe we established in that thread that you seem to just be unlucky. If there's one person on FT who can be somewhat of an expert on procedures for LY F, it's ebzed

Are you sure? Has it changed? I think it is ANY paid fare (F or A) but TPL gets it for A class made as a pre-ordered upgrade from I or C.

Sorry for the incorrect information, Here is the right one for the Car Pickup:
Paid A & F get the Service
TPL Bonus Ticket (P) Get the service
TPL buying C or I and Upgrade dont get the service

Exactly my point. I have made 20 trips but all have been A Class with upgrade from C or I. Im not unlucky, its just the service isnt there on this basis and you are treated on the ground (until the lounge) exactly as C. With BA, F is F no matter how you got there, you can use all the BA F facilities. Calling Sherut Shaom wont help you and you just have to queue in the C/F security line just like anyone else

Calling Sherut Shalom will help you... Try it next time...
Also using Unipass (when it works) is also fast...
When finishing security you have special line for check-in on F.

Why would a TPL on a bonus ticket get it, but not a TPL buying up?
