Eilat flight

I bought ticket to Eilat.
Reservations told me that there are no Biz seats on the 737.

I just did a web check in and the system told me
I will get an upgrade in the airport (for points) ????

Did any body here did this flight before?

It is all Y class at 737-700/800.
This ac does only Eilat

We got a choclate bar and water for lunch

21C has a good space and you get out first from the plane ( as I always like to do)
45A and 45K have not seat in front of them.
44 is exit row but the seats dont recline.
all the above are saved for TPL/ PL/GL

Some short programs from Keshet with a very low volume so you have
to guess the jokes by yourself. No subtitels..

Much better then any Arkia flight to Eilat.

So if you need to fly to Eilat then Elal is a good choice.
Arkia in case of emergency
Isra-air, better drive and not fly :-)

Arkia every time

Not sure it's worth sacrificing the convenience of Sde Dov if you live in North Tel Aviv though...

Slightly off topic. Speaking of flying to Eilat. I'll need to get to Eilat from Ashqelon in late November. Would it make sense to get to TLV and fly? Bus? etc

How is the domestic flight process in Israel? Still same security that requires lots of extra time prior to flight?

My house is 17 min from Ben Gurion so
Its better for me to fly from TLV.

The first ticket cost me 199 but then i had to
Do a last minute change and the
Flight was full so i had to add another
200 nis.

(You probably never met Ludmila..., She will excite you!)

I Believe LiorM's flight was related to business, But in anycase there are many
things to do in Eilat, The same as there are things to do in Tel-Aviv or Haifa were
i enjoy my vacations very often, Indeed its not Thailand, and there is no big Trip Report to write about it, But spending the day in the Reef with the Kids, Skipping an hotel for once and sleeping in the beach with tents, scuba diving, Or even staying the full day in the hotel enjoying the silence... I am sure i am missing some more activities...

(I am from Beer-Sheba, Here for sure there is nothing much to do!).

I went for business.

I use to go there many years ago when my children where young
and it was nice once a year.

The city is full with many Israelies and many turists so I guess
there is something there for someone.
