EasyJet Holidays cannot provide breakdown of costs
Hi,
I had to cancel an easyJet Holiday due to coronavirus in December. My travel insurance claim has been denied because easyJet cannot provide a full breakdown of the holidays costs ie. Flight, TFC’s, Hotel cost, and transfer costs. EasyJet have replied stating the holiday was sold as a bundle and therefore they cannot breakdown the package costs. Has anyone else experienced this, or have any advice how to get the issue resolved? Thanks in advance |
Sounds like your travel insurance are simply being awkward in order to try and get out of paying.
I would escalate with the insurance company and threaten them with the ombudsman |
Sounds like a problem with the travel insurer. It is a package holiday and sold as a package. I'm yet to see any package holiday provider supply a breakdown of costs- the package price is the package price.
Did the insurer say why they needed the breakdown in costs? |
