What's Dollar's FF Surcharge for US?

What amount does Dollar charge for frequent flier surcharge for US Airways? Can't find this info on Dollar's site or via FT search.

$1.95 per day.

For the record and for others searching, the revised surcharge amounts are thus:

UA: $1.95 per day, capped at $5.45
US: $1.95 per day, capped at $5.00
WN: $1.50 per day, capped at $8.00
AS, CO, DL: $0.95 per day, no cap
NW, HA, Best Western: $0.50 per day, capped at $2.00
AA: $0.06 per day (this is in negotiation), no cap

All other partners incur no surcharge.

Thanks, Jackal. That's a very interesting spread. Do they show up as separate charges on the receipt or are they lumped in with other fees/taxes.

I just had a Thrifty rental that had UA as my airline partner and I couldn't see a separate fee listed.

Should show up separately. It has in my experience. If you rented from a franchise, perhaps they haven't configured their computer system properly...in which case, you got lucky!

Very interesting...I thought all FF surcharges at all rental car companies was $.50 per day/$2 max. Did it used to be this way?

Are these amounts still correct? I'm especially interested in AA. Thanks!

You can review the surcharge amounts in the individual links found at http://www.dollar.com/TravelCenter/TravelPartner.aspx. It appears there have been a few changes. AA's surcharge is still $0.06, though.

Warning: It is not possible to remove your FF and avoid the surcharge, even if you attempt at the counter. I recently rented at DEN and saw the upcoming $8 charge before renting the car - but since I had entered it when I made the online reservation, the agent was unable to remove the charge EVEN BEFORE I SIGNED THE AGREEMENT AND RENTED THE CAR. Dollar Corporate Customer Service says this is normal, and can't be modified.
