Pet Peeve

Have you rented a car from Dollar? After you pick up your car, go thru the security gate, and drive off, have you ever looked at your contract? It has lots of info on it, but what it doesn't have is...

1. A description of your vehicle
2. The license number
3. The mileage
4. The time you left

Uh, hello????????????

Maybe that's why folks pay twice as much to rent from Hertz!

It must depend on the location - I'm looking at a contract from OKC, it has all the info...

The PHL airport location also has all of this information.

Hmm...

I always rent via Fastlane. I realize they process the paperwork in advance, but still makes no sense to me that i leave without any piece of papyrus that shows the car, mileage, time out, etc.

Which location did this happen and did it happen more than once? I've always been given the complete paperwork when using fastlane. I've never rented from a location that you could by-pass the counter completly, though. Perhaps that's the case here?

i rent from the LAS location a couple times each month; EVERY time using fastlane (and bypassing the counter), NONE of the info in my first post is ever reflected on my contract. Guess it's printed up in advance but it's really annoying that when i leave i don't have the basic info reflected on my contract.
