BNA_flyer, how is a Maker's Mark OF?
Do you detect much difference with your JD OF?

I was able to find some blood oranges (though I completely forgot to grab some Meyer lemons) and picked up a bottle of Jim Beam rye--I may throw together a drink tonight. :)

In answer to the previous poster's question--each has its own appeal; Maker's Mark is a little smoother perhaps but less distinctive. (To be honest, I don't drink that much that I've spent a lot of time evaluating them against each other.)

Had one last night, without Meyer lemon but with blood orange, and was quite impressed. I've been using just enough club soda to dissolve the sugar and barely float the ice, but I think I can cut back slightly.
