Worlds Best Kosher Establishments

What do you think is the best Glatt Kosher Restaraunt in the World?

Since this is not specifically related to the needs of religious travelers/traveling, am moving to Dining Buzz which is for general restaurant and bar discussion.

While not the best kosher restaurant, there is actually a kosher McDonald's in Buenos Aires, home to about 250,000 Jews. No cheese, no ice cream and the kitchen is strictly kosher and not open Friday night and Saturday. All food prepared to strictly kosher standards. In a food mall of a shopping center which also has a regular McDonald's. The only kosher McDonald's outside of Israel, according to my Buenos Aires travel guide.

I've always been a fan of Katz's Delicatessan (205 East Houston Street) - certainly not a formal dining establishment, but darn good kosher food.

Gabriel (Rechov Simon ben Shetach)

I think Gabriel in Nachalat Shiva (Jerusalem) has to be well up there! We went there a couple of weeks ago and the food and service were absolutely spectacular. I ordered the Tournedos Rossini (medium rare) and it arrived well done, and it was re-done without a murmur. They even left me the big slab of foie gras from the one I sent back to keep me occupied while they did the replacement.

Did you really mean to ask about only glatt kosher places?

Can I request that this gets left in this forum? Travellers who only eat kosher won't think of looking at the Dining forum because all the places there will be non-kosher (we assume). Much more likely that they would look here. So it is "specifically related to the needs of religious travelers/traveling", I would suggest.

Thanks, FF

As the New York Times pointed out recently in an article about delis, Katz's is not glatt kosher or even kosher at all.

Lawrence restaurant inside the Herods Vitalis hotel in Eilat, Israel. You won't believe this place is strict Kosher.
