Ruby's

I like shakes from Ruby's Diner. They have a wide variety (I think 20 different shakes.) The peanut butter cup with malt added is my favorite!:p

When in Seattle, there's two places I want to stop at to get a shake.

Daly's in Eastlake (chocolate - peanut butter!!)

Burger Express in Federal Way (so it's not right in Seattle, but it's really good).

Down in San Diego, I love Brians' Eatery's malted chocolate shakes.

YUM!

My all time favorite milkshake is made with Baskin Robbins' chocolate chip ice cream. This is the only one I've found so far that has such tiny chocolate pieces/shavings that you can actually drink them up through a straw. :D
Kate

I prefer Chocolate MINT shake. :)

I thought I was the only one! A Baskin Robbins chocolate malt made with Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream is excellent!

Best milkshakes I've had:

Chocolate brownie (I think) milkshake at a Haagen-Daaz near the main intersection in downtown Kyoto. I was in need of sugar and Japanese milk is thicker than what you find in the States (upwards of 4.5% milkfat in some brands) so coupled with the ice cream, it was heaven.

My consistent favorites are the cookies n' cream and Peachy Paterno milkshakes at the Penn State Creamery. I'm going to miss them now that I've moved to Texas.:( At least we have Blue Bell ice cream here, which helps!:D

Greetings and thanks for this very important thread helpful to Weight Watchers the world over ;)
Being a new San Diego resident I can say while In and Out and certainly puts out a good milkshake you might want to also check out "Hodads"
A very impressive milkshake. It was voted as the "Best of San Diego" in the most recent San Diego Magazine.I don't usully agree with their best of awards which are usually a narrow group of opinions. However as any taster knows all taste opinions are highly subjective.
Hodads certainly gets high marks IMO.
We went for their well known burgers but were far more impressed with the milkshakes. And the cool surfer/beach crowd. The lines to get in would probably keep me away however

I've had some decent ones at In N' Out as well. Oh how I miss them since they don't have any in Toronto. :(
