I read Slashfood every day. And love Chowhound (though as already mentioned it's a BB and not a blog).

Related note: few things are more hilarious (to my warped sense of humor) than watching the "recent searches" list on cooks.com.

Food Blogs I like

I just started 2 food blogs a month ago on American Regional food that are located at www.hellchef.com if anybody wants to check them out. For my personal tastes, I enjoy The Food Museum, What's Cooking America, The Food Section and Chowhound. Chef JP

My favourite food blog is
http://www.justhungry.com/

Unpretentious, thoughtful and foolproof recipes.
In fact most of the recipes are better than the equivalents I have in books.

There are a few, seemingly simple, Japanese foods I've tried to cook which keep eluding me, then I find out the justhungry author has published a version and my personal battle for mastery comes to a satisfying end.

The prime example is that for okonomiyaki. For a couple of years now I'd give it a go every few months or so. Even though it was always rubbery and vile I wouldn't let go of my fantasy of how it 'should' taste.
Then Maki published this - http://www.justhungry.com/okonomiyaki-osaka-style
and we've been eating it once or twice a week ever since. It's soooo good!

She also saved me from more rounds of disgusting failures with her recipe for Mitarashi dango.

Another food blog which I really enjoy is http://mykoreankitchen.com/

Although I am not a vegan, this website has amazing pictures and recipes. Her blog on cupcakes decorated with marizpan sweaters was outstanding (and she was invited to the Martha Stewart Show because of it.)

And the link directly to the cupcakes: http://veganyumyum.com/2007/06/knit-night-cupcakes/

I like http://www.seriouseats.com/ for links to all kinds of fun food things and
http://blissfulglutton.blogspot.com/ specifically for Atlanta restaurant news and reviews....

Awesome blog choices. I have also become smitten with smitten kitchen and she saved by arse this Christmas. I baked up a storm thanks to her!

I need to add some more of these to my bloglines.

More a photo-blog than a blog, but I love Lingzie's Tummy Treats, a photo blog of Penang, Malaysia's finest food.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. That and an AS MVPG cookie makes a great lunch. However, the local great shop recently raised their prices to an absurd $2.50 a sandwich. :D

Sounds like one of us ...
