Diet Coke
Diet Coke with Vanilla, and
Coke Zero.
I haven't had a drink of "normal" Coke in years.

Pepsi is a no-go. That includes the diet stuff. If I'm really desperate, I'll drink Pepsi Max.

Fresca is good.

I only drink diet versions of Coke or diet pepsi or at least I used too. I prefer Diet Coke.

I've recently tried to limit my intake of artificially colored beverages like Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi and soda altogether. If I drink soda, I aim for sprite, fresca, 7up that type of thing.

Well, they don't make Diet Vanilla any more, at least in the U.S. I love Diet Coke, but the Vanilla stuff may be the worst stuff I've ever tasted. I dumped the rest of the can, as well as the other 11 cans from the 12-pak down the drain.

Interesting. I like the Lime, but NOT the lemon. I saw the lemon as recently as a couple of days ago on sale at the supermarket.

Favorite is Pepsi One, followed by Diet Pepsi (or Pepsi Light, depending on the country). Also a fan of Diet Pepsi or Diet Coke with Lime, and Fresca ^

A large Diet Coke with your stir fry? :)

Randy Petersen Jun 23, 2006 11:46 am

Ditto! There really is a difference.

I like Diet Pepsi much better than Diet Coke....

droopyUA Jun 23, 2006 12:28 pm

Iswitch frequently between Coke and Pepsi and hate both diet products. The diet products have a taste like medicine.

Agreed. Both diet brands taste really yucky.

daph Jun 23, 2006 7:35 pm

I hate Pepsi-I'm afraid that I'm of the Coke generation [the drink, that is].
When a restaurant has only Pepsi I just have tap water and they lose a sale. I don't like diet Coke at all. On UA I've settled on the cranberry/apple juice and on NWA I get a grapefruit drink. Good old BA continues to serve Coke.
Once I took a blindfold test - Pepsi vs. Coke. It was easy and impressed the children, who were young at the time.

Leaded: Coke
Unleaded: Diet Pepsi

With a couple wedges of lime, please.

How about late next week???? :) It's been too long since we've stir-fried together. :(

I understand that Coca-Cola Light is Coke Zero. It was sold in other countries long before it was rebranded and brought here. Diet Coke is New Coke (an abomination :td: ) with artificial sweeteners.

Pepsi is not worth any discussion IMHO.

aly Jun 24, 2006 12:58 pm

coke, coca cola, cole is it, coke adds life...

well, i guess u can see, its all about COKE...!!!!

I'm pretty certain Coke Zero and Coca-Cola Light are not the same thing.

dannyr Jun 24, 2006 9:47 pm

I started drinking Diet Coke because it has more caffeine than normal Coke. I now drink it out of choice for taste. I don't drink Pepsi because it, for some reason, acts as a diuretic on me.

mosburger Jun 24, 2006 10:06 pm

Coke tastes better with soju, but I'd go for Pepsi with vodka. ;)

Duhey2 Jun 24, 2006 10:31 pm

By themselves, it doesn't make much of a difference to me. But when it comes to cocktails, it has to be regular coke or 7-up....not diet (oddly, I like diet tonic water).

I really like the lime varieties....I just don't know why they came out with lemon versions first. One thing I like about vietnamese restaurants is they give you lime with your iced tea.

PS- and never, ever, ever diet ginger ale. I'd give up all other regular sodas to have my ginger ale.

CXYYZ Jun 25, 2006 2:40 am

Usually Coke over Pepsi, though not always. I'm a fan of Coke Zero and Diet Coke with Lime, also. Diet Coke I don't mind, Diet Pepsi I would rather go thirsty.

Catman Jun 25, 2006 9:07 am

Pepsi. Regular, chilled if possible with no ice.

When I drink diet sodas I feel like I"m drinking jet fuel. BLEH!

Coca Cola is good for upset stomaches and other illnesses I've heard.

But for me it's Pepsi (which makes me happy to fly United ;) )

There is Flyertalk legend that when I took the Pepsi challenge I chose Coke. Well, I did the challenge in Toronto and with that pure cane sugar I was fooled! ;)

phillygold Jun 25, 2006 12:43 pm

Pepsi straight up....Coke in mixed drinks. And the new Dr. Pepper with Berries and Cream as an interesting alternative...

You are correct. I should not post things after being awake for 40 hours. I was trying to say that Coke Zero is more of a "diet" Coke than the actual Diet Coke

ExecPlatinum_Lord Jun 28, 2006 12:37 am

It's easy..

1) Coke Zero

2) Sprite Zero

Never developed a taste for Pepsi -- tooo sweet.
