No bottled h20 or filters here -- no need.

Again - no need here in MEL for bottled water, but while living in London I drank Evian - it has a distinct and unmistakable taste. Haven't tried Fuji. Volvic to me tastes a bit, well, volcanic?

I like Fiji (which I still get sometimes, can be had in local grocery stores or Target if I feel like splurging) and Vittel (which I got mainly in Europe although I've had it occasionally in a US airport, I think....)
For general drinking though I'll pick up a Dasani, and I usually have those around at home. It isn't the same as a spring water, but the various spring waters that turn up in the stores have inconsistent taste, sometimes an off taste that others don't care about but I won't like at all. Dasani is consistently okay for me and cheap. Aquafina, Pepsi's competitor product, has had at least sometimes when I drank it a somewhat off taste I didn't like. After a bike ride or such, any water that's not what has been cooked for a while in my water bottle tastes pretty good. ;) |
If we're including flavored waters in this discussion, then chalk one up for :-: Propel :-: . It is sooooooooo much better than any of the other flavored waters out there!
If we are only talking about water-flavored water, then I will drink Fiji if I am splurging, Dasani if I am not, but tap water most frequently. My understanding is that bottled water contains no flouride, so I drink tap for that reason. Vos is good too, but makes Fiji look like a bargain! |
I like Evian. I have taken that water for years! It's a habit--no real difference with other waters--apart from the label! ;)

Aquafina for me.
|
self bottled Roman tap. ;)
|
Refilled Hawaiian tap water for me when at home. But, Fiji water when on vacation in Vegas and everything is comp. ;)

In Japan
Evian Vittel Flying From Elsewhere Fiji (if available) Kampai, Klaxon :p |
Not too easy to find in US anymore but may be making a come back FERRARELLE
|
If it has to be bottled, I like Poland Spring
Best tap water i'd say would be in Maine and Switzerland. |
When at home it's Severn Trent's finest treated tap water - if i'm in a bar or restaurant it would be a Sparkling mineral with a preference for San Pellegrino for still water I like Vittel

A bottle of cold Wahaha sure makes a blazing hot and dusty summer afternoon in Beijing more bearable :)
