We will be in Nice for New Years. Any recommendations for good restaurants that will be open during this time of year? Also, we'd preferably like to spend less than 200E per person.

Well, Nice for New Year's eve dinner. We'll probably go to Monacco as well at some point in the trip.
For grand fine dining, the Hotel Negresco's Chantecler, would be a good choice. Whether they are open on NYE I am afraid I do not know.
Other excellent choices, not necessarily for NYE, are:
La Bastide St. Antoine, Grasse
Le Moulin de Mougins, Mougins
Le Louis XV, Hotel de Paris, Monaco
Restaurant Joel Robuchon, Hotel Metropole, Monaco
Chateau de la Chevre d'Or, Eze

I wouldn't want to drive from any of the above (especially Eze!) after a NY evening of dining & drinking... Less than 10 mins away on a safer road is Cap Ferrat - I love the restaurant at the Voile d'Or hotel, but many prefer the Grand Hotel du Cap - I'm sure they'll both being doing something.Originally Posted by luxury

Maybe then Bar et Bouef or Spoon in Monaco may be alternatives for Monaco....
