Another nod to Seasons 52. Just wish they would make it to Ohio.

We love Maggiano's, Grand Lux and In-N-Out. For those living in the DFW Metroplex, In-N-Out will be opening their first unit outside the West in Ft.Worth sometime in mid-2011.

I enjoy the mini-chain Twin Peaks with locations in NM, OK, and TX.

Agreed. I used to love going here when I lived in AZ. Amazingly their Tempe location that was on Mill Avenue closed. I used to walk over when I went to ASU and it was my favorite location.

So has the one on Alma School just South of US60 in Mesa. They just closed first week of November, waitstaff told me that according to the company during a 2 year period they'd only made money in 5 months. Whenever I was there it seemed busy but I guess I just eat at popular times/days and don't go during the long dead periods.

Oh wow. That was the one I started going to after the Mill Avenue one closed! Guess I'm just a curse on Islands Locations :(

Sorry to hear that. I've been to that one and liked it. Wish I could have done more to help keep them in business, but I'm only there once a year or less.

Chick-fila is great. They have them in the Philadelphia area, so whenever I am in the area, I stop by. Sonic is pretty good too. Bonefish grill is also very good for an "upscale" chain restaurant.

Long ago I intended to add Pardo's to this list. There was one in the West Village in New York but I think it closed. It's a Peruvian chain and is quite outstanding. The location in Coral Gables, FL may be the only branch in the US now, but I am not certain of that.

The best Carabba's are the family's original restaurants in Houston. I have been a visitor at the original location (on Kirby Drive) since the mid-eighties. In fact, it was the first restaurant I dined at after arriving from England to go to university in the US. For some reason, the food at that location still tastes better than at the chain locations.

There's another chain I like that started off in Houston, and that is La Madeleine. I've always enjoyed their spinach pochette and chicken friand.

Really? What do you like there? I went once and absolutely hated it. Had a variety of soft tacos as I remember. It was the sauces that did me in.

I just glanced through the whole thread. I think it lists pretty much every chain imaginable, except the really, really nasty ones (Pancho's anybody?). I think I even saw Taco Bell in here somewhere :(
