We have a condo in GCM. Whenever friends visit us there, no matter what country they are from, they always want to go to the Hard Rock, even if it is just to buy a t-shirt. In fact, it's quite obvious that the place was designed more as a souvenir shop than a restaurant. When it rains on 'cruise ship days' the place is packed. BTW, the food there seems to be just bit better than the Hard Rock in Chicago. Maybe it's the salt air!

Fiji!!!

I was looking for somewhere for lunch today and I stumbled upon a new Hard Rock Cafe I didn't know existed. It is the HRC Fiji at Port Denarau near Nadi. It identifies itself as HRC Fiji rather than HRC Nadi (or Denarau) and is owned by Chefs, a restaurant somewhat renowned in these parts for the quality of its food and service. The same standard apply to its Hard Rock menu - I had the classic HRC Bacon Cheeseburger and it didn't disappoint (better than London and NYC in my estimation).

You are not the only one.....

We always add HRC to our to do list when on vacations. We get 2 sets of shot glass and 4~6 pins from each location. Visited close to 50 cafes and it is getting expensive. Shot glass used to be US$2.50 when I start collecting them, last month we paid US$12 apiece at Puerto Vallarta!!

My 4 years old would go there for the food. It was the only place that we can find American Mac & Cheese in Rome!

My wife and I visited the Caymans a couple of months back and the HRC there is open again. But I have to admit it is probably the smallest one I've been in. Definitely a different experience than eating at the Orlando HRC.

It's interesting to see how many locations are listed here, that are not on the website's list anymore: http://www.hardrockcafe.com/location...3/locator.aspx

I've only ever been to two (despite having them in every city I've lived in... I just never think to go there)

Key West
San Diego

Both were pretty good.

Went to the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas but ate at another one of their restaurants. Very tasty.

A HRC is opening in Venice (ITALY) this week-end !
The smallest in Europe, but the most beautiful: a fantastic Murano-glass chandelier, wonderful venetian floors, white marble tops in the bar, etc.etc.
It will be a must in Venice !

Bump for a pinhead...I've decided to part with my Horoscope Guitars Set and my Zodiac Jigsaw Puzzle Set. Thought I'd give FT a chance at them before I eBay them. The Horoscope set is limited to 500 pieces and the Zodiac Jigsaw was limited to 5000 sets. Click HERE for the HRC Pin Catalog Online, and insert the bolded words into the "Group" field to see what I'm talking about. For the European FTers, I'll be at the HRC in AMS either 9th or 10th May.

Added Amsterdam and Dublin.

I sure wish they would do the city tees in colors other than white. My favorite shirts are my grey Hong Kong and (now lost) grey Shanghai.
