I have a kiwi, skin on, once per day in the evening

I can handle peach fuzz. I think kiwi fuzz is more than I can handle.

After visiting Singapore in January for SIN DO, I am now a huge fan of jack fruit. I haven't had a chance to visit any of the Asian grocery stores in Kansas City yet, though I am hoping to find it in stock. I certainly ate way more than I should have, but it was delicious.

In some places it is much more common than cherries, pears, or peaches. ;)

I have a pineapple ripening in the dining room. I can smell it from here. Last night I watched a YT video on 5 ways to prepare a pineapple. I was most intrigued by the one where you cut between the fruits (you all knew the each of those eyes held a single fruit, right?) and use the eye to pull it out and eat each one.

I also have a pineapple growing in the back yard. The plant took a major hit this winter with two consecutive freezing nights. This may turn out to be even smaller than the one two years ago. I’m guessing it will be the size of a large mango when ripe.

Yeah, but isn't that a lot like saying raspberry compote?

When travelling, my go-tos that I don't bother with (or can't find) in the US are:

Mango (they all taste vegetal to me here in the US)
Mangosteen
Rambutan
Lúcuma
Lychee
Cherimoya
Jackfruit (I still remember the $0.50 bags of 'mit' in Saigon)

Durian isn't my jam alas.
