I mentioned the thread I was reading to Mr. Fwoomp, who said, "Oh, like heating it on the hot plate of the coffee maker?"
So there's another one for you.
Personally, I'm not averse to cold pizza, either, but some toppings really do make reheating preferable, IMO. (Fresh tomato, artichoke hearts, and/or bacon, if you're curious.)

This is actually REALLY intriguing to me...with the right iron setting, this should totally work if the pizza's wrapped well in foil! ^ (I very rarely end up with leftover pizza and a bunch of foil in my hotel room, but if I ever do, I'm definitely doing this!)
This is also intriguing...but more in a kinda scary way. Not sure I've ever heard the term "sous vide pizza" before - and I'm pretty sure there's a good reason for that.
If the hotel water is really hot, you could experiment with putting the pizza in something waterproof, such as a 3-1-1 storage baggie, and immersing in very hot water. You could even try the same if the hotel room is equipped with a kettle or even a coffee maker that can be used to heat water for tea, and similarly if you travel with an immersion water heating coil.

I think I must have been flashing back to college days when the local Papa Johns had two pizzas for $5.

If you have a rental car, you can also reheat it on the warm engine--like using the iron, but with more surface area. (Definitely use the foil.)
There was a Mythbusters episode you can use for reference, and cooking/reheating with a car engine has also come up on Car Talk.
(OK, admittedly this is outside your hotel room, but so is the lobby microwave. )

I looked it up. Use two towels. Roll them up, on on each side of the iron, to make a prop for it.

We had a local pizza joint in college who sold $2 16-inch pizzas (VP Pie). They tasted about like you would expect... I suppose when you'd spent all your money on booze, they were acceptable.

The ones I used to get were pretty good, but 12-14 inches I think. Dinner for two nights for $5 was pretty good, even in those days, and they heated up pretty well in the oven. And those days we used to have 99 cent pitchers on certain days at certain places.
