It's definitely the menu, but it's also what they serve you. You point to what you want and they put it on a plate.

For all intents and purposes it's the national food of Indonesia (because it can be found in nearly every corner of Indonesia) and pretty much the same everywhere. Its the cuisine form west Sumatra.
