this is overrated, that is overatted, what foodstuffs are not overratted in the minds of FTers'?

Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee - worth the hype
Wagyu beef - overrated (IMO)

Buckwheat. I love it.

All of the below are assuming top notch quality.

Rack of lamb
Grass fed ribeye steaks from Whole Foods
Creme brulee
Good, fresh sushi
Smoked salmon
Crab cakes

Fresh white truffles from Alba, Italy. ^

My homemade cream puffs.
My homemade Makers's Mark brownies.
The pizza at that place in New York that I cant remember the name of.

I'll be the judge of that, as far as the homemade items. :) I should expect my care package of them to arrive when? :D

Microwave popcorn.
Sardines straight from the tin.
Lima beans.

Nutella by the spoonful.

The attendant nausea that follows after consuming copious spoonfuls of said foodstuff is, conversely, understated.
