What's your favourite crisps?

Go for it.. let me know what your favourite bag is?

I love Macoys MAN CRISPS Salt n Vinegar.

gfunkdave Sep 4, 2011 2:06 pm

Kettle Chips salt and vinegar

Or Canadian Ketchup flavor

Or the Costco store brand regular ones.

Babaduck Sep 4, 2011 3:15 pm

An Irish brand called O'Donnell's Crisps. Just two flavours & they're utterly addictive. We can't keep them in the house!

braslvr Sep 4, 2011 4:15 pm

Any of several brands of kettle style chips, plain salted. I'm not overly fond of Kettle Chips brand though. Too oily to the point there is often a puddle in the bottom of the bag.

CubsFanJohn Sep 4, 2011 4:49 pm

Regular Baked Lays.
Walker's Crisps.
Just about any Tortilla Chip.

NYCFlyGirl Sep 4, 2011 8:24 pm

They're no longer available, but I loved the Walkers Chicken Tikka Masala. Otherwise, I like Ruffles (plain or sour cream and onion).

wdogg Sep 5, 2011 9:44 pm

original salted kettle chips from fresh & easy. they're not overly greasy like the Kettle Chips brand chips.

element7 Sep 5, 2011 10:33 pm

I just usually buy pringles since they are so easy to store and taste pretty good. (I've been eating them since childhood too which definitely played role in me still buying them)

hedur Sep 5, 2011 11:04 pm

Kettle Sea Salt and balsamic vinegar.

I found them in Scotland about four years ago and ate them almost daily while I was there. Have yet to see them in a grocers in the states. :td:

BadgerBoi Sep 5, 2011 11:27 pm

Arnott's Thins chicken flavoured. Their Light and Tangy flavour are a close second.

Lousie Sep 6, 2011 6:57 am

Salt and Vinegar. Most types.

Seem to be a lot of love for S&V kettle Chips on here but I find they don't have enough flavour. A good quality crisp though.

Seabrook S&V are amazing. Pringles just brought out a 'posh' S&V flavour that was very nice. I like the regular ones too but I find it's too hit and miss with how much flavour will actually be on the crisps.

If you can't tell, I like a lot of flavour on my salt and vinegar crisps!

Oh I remember them! They were yum! ^

pseudoswede Sep 6, 2011 3:47 pm

Another vote for the Costco sea salt Kettle Chips.

HIDDY Sep 6, 2011 4:14 pm

They're very hard to get due to the hunting season on haggis being a short one in order to preserve numbers.

Lay's used to make a Spicy Indian Masala flavor. Everytime someone I knew went to Canada, I'd ask them to bring me back some.

longwaybackhome Sep 6, 2011 6:58 pm

Salt and vinegar, all the brands I've tried so far.

ShopAround Sep 6, 2011 8:17 pm

I love prawn cocktail Pringles - wish I could get them here in the U.S.

Weean Sep 7, 2011 8:23 am

Salt and black pepper. I can't understand why it's a 'niche' flavour, much nicer than salt and vinegar.

zookeeper Sep 7, 2011 8:37 am

Zapp's Cajun Crawtators...yum! Kettle jalapeno are also really good.

tonerman Sep 7, 2011 9:38 am

I'm not very sophisticated when it comes to chips (crisps)

Plain old Lays potato chips and Fritos corn chips

saint_em Sep 7, 2011 9:41 am

In the UK, another vote for the Salt & Balsamic Vinegar Kettle Chips, and the newish Walker's 'baked' salt n vinegar. I also like the 'Real' brand (our local pub sells them, most flavours go well with a pint!). In the US I like Lays bbq or honey bbq and the kettle cooked mesquite bbq ones. Here in the UK bbq crisps are very meaty, but the Lays ones taste more like bbq sauce.

Tyrrel's vegetable crisps (parsnips/carrots/beetroot, etc) are nice but VERY greasy and cost a lot too.

Ohh that reminds me of the Phileas Fogg Punjab Puri crisps - ohhh they were seriously good! My father was a huge fan, and there was often a bag on the go (he would have a small handful as a pre-dinner snack, often with a glass of wine or beer, but mother has curtailed his habit after some none too favourable cholesterol readings!) Can you still get them, I haven't seen them in years!

I could subsist solely off of Zapp's and Abita Amber.

dchristiva Sep 7, 2011 2:17 pm

Salt & Vinegar or Sea Salt. Any kind are fine with me.

Tangentially, I recently discovered Snyder's Hot Buffalo Wing Pretzel Pieces and I am totally addicted.

Lays Smokey Bacon

Poore Brothers BBQ or Salt and Vinegar:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poore_Brothers

On a side note, the vending machine at work has been stocking Puffy Cheetos. I hadn't had them since elementary school so I bought a bag and wow did they take me back. Nice piece of nostalgia there.

Ooh, I forgot to mention PopChips, which are kind of like potato chips, only much lower in fat and 90% as delicious.

Salt & Vinegar
Salt & Pepper
Cheddar

Yum

I hope MAN is the manufacturer.

Anyway, Herr's sour cream and onion.

Munchos are a bit like Quavers!

I like UK cheesy wotsits - they are yummy and cheetos are a poor imitation!

Steph3n Sep 9, 2011 4:43 pm

Archer Farms (target store brand)

baked balsamic vinegar and sea salt :D

If Cheetos are a poor imitation, thank God these cheesy wotsits can't be had in the U. S. :)
