Some rather disheartening news from the Middle East -- apparently, it is possible to find Cadbury Creme Eggs here (where is that puke smiley when you need it?), though I am too scared to go into a store and investigate for myself (a girl -- who is no longer my friend thanks to her fondness for such nastiness -- informed me earlier today). She had nothing to report on Starburst jelly beans, however (where is that broken-heart smiley, while we're at it?). :(
I have thought to have the jelly beans shipped from home, along with a lot of other yummy stuff that you can't get here, like Hershey's Kit-Kats (the Nestle ones are just a cruel joke on the senses). But it seems silly to send junk food from home when there is already ample (if inferior) junk food here. So I just light a candle and remember all the fond times I had eating Starburst jelly beans at home, and pray that I keep the memory alive until the day that we are again united in the land of the free and home of the brave (hmm, a flag smiley would be nice, too -- we could really use a smiley upgrade!)! ^ |
I'm addicted to the Cadbury creme eggs and the mini eggs. Everyone else is welcome to the marshmallow stuff.

Ice Cubes ---In the blue foil wrapping. Delicious but hard to find. Also like Elmers and Gold Bricks!.......
Happy Easter! ;) |

The little Cadbury eggs with the hard shell. A whole bag of black jelly beans. I'd be in heaven.

I've been popping into CVS on the way home quite a bit this month. So far I've picked up Cadbury Creme Eggs (both classic and orange creme), Choclate covered marshmellow eggs and choclate covered peanut butter eggs (by Reeses). I'll probably have to get some jelly beans too.

I was about to run out of there, screaming, but I maintained my composure and held my ground. And good thing, because just a few aisles away were bags and bags of delightful, delicious, de-lovely Starburst jelly beans!!!!!!!!!!! :-: ^ :D  :-: ^ :D  ^ :) :-: It's the best Easter in Dubai, ever!! :) PS. Wow, apparently you can only use up to 20 smilies in a post. Who knew? |

I've never tried the ones in the UK. I did notice that at least when I was there years ago, the Kit Kats in the UK didn't have the "may contain peanuts" label that the ones in the US had... One of these days, I'm going to take Benadryl, give it time to kick in, and then devour a Kit Kat and a Nestle Crunch.

If you like US Kit Kats, do NOT eat a UK Kit Kat. They are NOT good.

Ferrero Rocher makes special spring candies (coconut, berry, and lemon) I've only seen in Europe.
