Iron Chef - Christmas Edition

Anybody else watch the Iron Chef Christmas special the other night? Paula Dean and Cat Cora, vs. Tyler Florence and Robert Irvine.

The secret ingredient was SUGAR. (With Paula, I was hoping for butter )

Paula managed to make a fudge concoction that included Velveeta, turn it into balls, put it on a stick, dip it in caramel, then in white chocolate, and then in nuts.

The comment from the judges was "um, very sweet".

Cat plied them with alcoholic beverages, including a peppermint candy martini, and they managed to win.

Tyler completely blew a Buche de Noel - which the judges described as a "plank instead of a log."

The judges included Tina Fey - who at the end just put her head down on the table in defeat and cried for mercy.

I just rebuilt my computer with a fresh copy of Windows 7 Ultimate. Forgot to put on VLC.

Thanks!

I watched parts of the "sugar" special. My blood sugar was rising just watching them eat it all.

Yes I did. Tina didnt seem like she had too much input. All the sugar dishes looked fab!
