I found two cans of Carta Blanca in the fridge in my room in Costa Rica. The bar had Imperial on draft.

Picked up the last two bottles of Elevation Beer Co. Oil Man (2013 vintage) at my local liquor store. He's been trying for weeks to pick up the 2014 vintage with no success.

Nothing new in the fridge. Went out this afternoon and tried a couple new beers. The first was a strawberry flavored beer that I wish I could forget. I've already forgotten who brewed it. What was I thinking? The second was Terrapin Liquid Bliss chocolate peanut butter porter and it was outstanding. Maybe I should have combined the two for a kind of peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Naw. I highly recommend the Liquid Bliss though.

I'd recommend Terrapin Wake-n-Bake, it's a delicious coffee oatmeal imperial stout.

It's a liquid memory of a brewery tour I took while in Salzburg. :)

Tonight back to the Kentucky Kolsh which I must say is a decent beer at a decent price.

Drinking a 2010 Trader Joe's Vintage Ale. Weird stuff, but cheap. Gets better with age.

A friend and I are trying out some Great Lakes beers. I've become a fan of their Dortmunder Gold. Their Elliott Ness (described as an amber ale) is equally highly rated, but we both thought the taste was a bit flat compared to Dortmunder Gold and some other Great Lakes beers.

Enjoy! My favorite year-round from them is the Commodore Perry IPA. Seasonally, the Nosferatu red ale in the fall is awesome. If you're local, stop by the brewpub, as they usually have a few taphouse only brews going, and the food is pretty good.
