Yes - I think so.
As I was just in the UK and didn't see them anywhere...
And a friend of mine just came here from England she he'd never seen them either.
They're probably take off... kinda fun to eat. Not exactly the healthiest though - so much breading and frying per ounce of "meat".

Wow, from the pictures, it doesn't even look like they have any bubbles! ^

New Frenchified McDonald's Menu For France

I just saw this article and thought it was pretty cool...

McDonald's in France will be launching a new menu with lots of local inspired items like McBaguettes & sandwiches made with regional terroir cheeses.

Check out the article: http://news.yahoo.com/mcbaguette-san...124143816.html

I wonder what two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun baguette would taste like! :D

Had the Mushroom Swiss chicken breast on whole wheat ciabatta (IIRC) tonite.. Very surprised with the taste, the sodium level may be high, but the sandwich was quite delicious.

My flight ended up being delayed and I was stuck in SF over night and went through Korea instead of Hong Kong, but I'll look for some interesting eats out here in the Philippines for ya! :)

I visited Phils before I started writing the blog, so I never even visited McDs that trip. I hear they have some unique things every now and then.

My newest review is a pretty boring one

Jman, I have to be honest. Your McDonald's obsession both frightens and intrigues me. Either way, I stop by and read this thread every few days. :D

A good friend of mine, her dad owns Phils. Had the pleasure meeting the gentleman, and visiting their residence.

Certainly, the McDonalds selection lately has become more than intriguing. No longer king of fast simple products.. McDs have moved to diversify with a different taste.
