Want 44000 DC reward pts
I need 44,000 Diner Club reward pts (=22,000 airline miles). In return for your generous contribution, I would be happy to give you a domestic award ticket on Delta, US Air or NWA (which is 25,000 airline miles).

The problem with your offer is that in just a few months BA and DC may team up again to offer the 1:1 BA promotion. Making your offer very unattractive.

Definitely very unattractive. I would think you need to offer 80,000 miles on those airlines, particularily because of the difficulty in getting a free trip for 25,000 miles.

Unfortunately for you, your proposition is very unattractive due to the BA transfer.

You may have piecemeal takers who do not consider it worth it to begin a BA account.

I didn't want to start a new thread about this topic.

Since so many of who hold a DC card are members of BA Executive Club, we may want to take a look at some the changes BA will be making to their frequent flyer program:

In summary, they are a turn for the worse. The negative changes they are making vastly outnumber the positive ones.
