+2, and I'm glad I'm flying to TLV 11/2 on a 744 in seats 73 A/B right by the cockpit so I can make sure Dovster is not the pilot! I, on the other hand, had a perfect takeoff & landing at DCA in the SIM.

I was fortunate enough to be able to be there and promptly crashed my sim into the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge when the instructor suggested I attempt to fly under it.

My one (C-130) sim experience was my friend cutting three engines and me crashing somewhere in the mountains near Albuquerque.

So that was not an errant missile launch in the Fort Bliss, TX/White Sands, NM area.

How much have they changed since the 80s... I was lucky to spend a lot of time in them in the 80s... got a lot harder to get in after the Western deal...

Are you therefore denying the unpublished and unconfirmed, but highly believable, rumor that the Boeing 777-200LR simulator was hijacked by atldlff and is currently in constant use in his living room?
** Update: The 777-200LR simulator has been returned safely back to Delta OCC # 3 after complaints from my wife when the sheetrock in the ceiling cracked after multiple and unsuccessful attempts to recover from a Flat Spin.

However; I am pleased to report that I did successfully learn to land on I-285 and creating the opportunity to greatly improve the transit time to off-airport parking for ATL O&D customers. Customer service at its best!

NWA merger

Question, do you know what happened to the 747-400 simulator that was NWA's Eagan training center...circa 80's-90's

I have 54+ hours in that sim, also 747-100

thnx

Hello
I'm a Delta Airlines simulator technician. I have been with Delta since 1987. I would be happy to take questions on Delta's simulators. I do not speak on behalf of Delta Airlines, but I am a proud Delta employee. Our pilot training is second to none.
