I'm worrying and can't sleep because we found a lump on Generalissimo Geno.

Thanks. He goes to the vet at 9:30 tomorrow morning. His appointment was originally for next week, with a different vet in the practice. A few hours later, they called back. His usual vet decided to work tomorrow, and they called to offer me the first choice of appointments. I am happier knowing that his usual vet will see him.

Good luck at the vet tomorrow, glad he can see the regular doc.
It's gonna be a scorcher this weekend! Everyone stay cool.

hope everything resolves satisfactorily ... we dealt with 2-1/2 hours of emergency surgery on Sat night two weeks ago after our Lab ate something (surprise!) he discovered under the laurel hedge in the backyard ... stitches came out yesterday, and he’s pretty much back to normal

Thanks. It's a skin growth, but the vet isn't concerned. She said she can remove it at a future visit, under local anesthesia.

the vet said it was a soft toy on a nylon rope (maybe 1/4” diameter, with a knot at the end); he threw up the soft part about an hour later ... the people behind us have a puppy, so I suspect it may have “migrated” down from their yard

Well I think I have a new job. A bit different from what I was doing, but a welcome change. It was nice to have some offers almost immediately after leaving the previous position.

Unfortunately I won't be traveling except for leisure in the near-future, but I've already basically requalified for PM next year so no big deal.

I'm at a charitable dinner and Tim Mapes is at the table next to me. He donated 2 D1 network wide r/t tickets.

Much appreciated, although I probably won't have time any time soon. My work hours will be pretty high for the next few weeks. Like 60+ a week unfortunately.
