Me too. I was awakened this morning about 3:00 am by a sheriff's deputy knocking on the door.
Apparently there was a suspicious car reported in the neighborhood, which they thought might be breaking into cars. The deputy looked in my daughter's car in my driveway with his flashlight and saw that the dash had been pulled apart. I told him thank you for heads-up, but I had pulled the dash apart while repairing the steering yesterday and that's what it looked like when I went to bed, and there was nothing missing.

I think the technique is to brake into the CRV and accelerate out, but not so fast as to Escape from your lane
