Delta one for couples

Hello. My wife and I are flying from dtw to hnl soon in Delta One. The aircraft is an A330-300. Thinking of center seats but afraid the configuration will not allow us to communicate or see each other during the flight due to a center barrier… Should I keep the center seats or move to two window seats behind each other? Appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Welcome to Flyertalk. I'll move this to our Delta forum where you're likely to get the best responses.

It's easier to lean forward than twist around. I'd go for the middle.

If you frequently engage with your S.O. during flights then definitively middle, if you both like to retreat into your movies and what not window is more private. We prefer middle.

We struggle with this same decision every time we are on a D1 flight. I'm the kind that loves to look out the window when I fly. My wife just needs to be near the aisle. On flights to HNL, I Usually compromise and settle for the center section because so much of this flight is over water.

Wife and I opt for middle but if aircraft switches to 339 or 350, "suites" are nice but you basically have a porthole to make googly eyes at each other. traditional fishbone configuration in middle is pretty friendly for couples, suites? not so much...grab windows.
