Thanks, again. We'll see what happens Saturday morning at DCA. In the meantime, I'm hoping Delta extends the FR travel waiver by one more day. This morning, it was moved out to include March 31. We had planned a week in Paris and a week in London, but decided to skip Paris this year and go right to London. If the waiver is extended to April 1, I've been told we can re-book all three D1 (one paid, two on miles) tickets on a direct flight to LHR.

My family and I will be arriving CDG from CVG on Sunday. All three of us are in DeltaOne, and I'm a DM/3MM/Delta Reserve AmEx cardholder. We have a separately-ticketed AF flight later in the day to LHR, in AF Business Class. I understand that we'll have to grab our checked bags, clear immigration, and then check-in ground-side with AF and clear CDG security. My question is: Once we are air-side again, can we access any of the AF Clubs? We have a four hour layover at CDG. I called DL today, and the agent said it will depend on how AF decides to treat us - we may be able to access the club with my Reserve Card - buying a day pass for my wife and daughter. Anyone have any advice?
1) you can check your bag all the way even across tickets 2) lounge access at CDG will be via your J ticket (you personally can access via status with a guest but you can't get all three of your party in this way) 3) your reserve card means absolutely zero in CDG |

Are you sure about that?
Those AF lounges are not arrival lounges. Because these flights are ticketed separately, I have a feeling that any scanning of the CVG-CDG BP will result in a snippy response from the lounge dragons. "Zees is not an arrival lounge! Allez-vous en!" I don't think the J boarding passes to London will count for entry, will they? Maybe now that the UK isn't EU? |

doesn't matter if they're sepearate tickets for the purposes of lounge access

Thanks again for all the advice - it’s why I appreciate FlyerTalk! In the end, Delta extended the France travel waiver today, and I was able to switch to a direct routing to London on our outbound - DCA-MSP-LHR in Delta One.

It does, to the extent that arriving in J and departing in Y would mean no lounge access (unless elite).

Question about AF Lounge Access at CDG:
I am flying on a revenue ticket SJO (Costa Rica) - CDG - ZRH. The ticket was bought in Economy, but I used Flying Blue miles to upgrade the long-haul flight SJO-CDG to Business class. The CDG-ZRH hop remains in Economy. I don't have any SkyTeam status. Do I get access to the AF lounges in CDG during the layover? |

Question about access to AF lounge at CDG before a domestic AF flight. Here is the scenario.
I am currently PM with ST+ status. Flying NYC-CDG on Delta metal (booking in main cabin using skymiles). About 4 hours later I am flying CDG-NCE booked on Air France paying cash. I am planning to interline my checked bags from NYC-CDG-NCE. I understand some people have issues with this but I will have the interline agreement printed out and will stand firm until a red coat makes this happen. =) checking the bag tags to make sure all is coded correctly. =) =) Question: will I have access to AF CDG lounge during my 4 hour layover??? I will have both boarding passes and will make sure my DL Skymiles number and ST+ status appears on my AF boarding pass for the CDG-NCE flight. Will AF lounge dragons mind that it is two seperate tickets 1) INTL 2) domestic.???? I figure even if the scaner rejects me I can speak to an agent and get in presenting both boarding passes and my PM ST+ card/status. thanks all. |

Access to AF Lounges in CDG if traveling on Delta Codeshare on AF metal?
I am a DL Sky Team Elite + member traveling in coach (V fare), on a Delta Codeshare, on AF metal, from CDG to DEN. Will I have access to AF lounges in CDG? We are a party of three. Can I guest one and purchase lounge access for another PAX? Thanks |
As STE+ you will have accès for you plus one guest. The third will have to pay.
