DMs and PMs don’t get complimentary upgrades if a flight is marketed as PS. However if it’s marketed as C+ (which it is on domestic flights), than DMs and PMs are eligible for complimentary C+ UGs, assuming space is available.

Delta doesn't offer PS on any domestic route now

Same as 764 (although not the entire 763 fleet)

Edit: Oops, you asked when, not what. DL usually doesn't "announce" these until the first modified planes start entering service. It was likely never announced since we aren't there yet

This is true of all PS equipped aircraft flying domestic flights. The 777s were the same way, the A350 when it flies domestic also has the same setup. D1 sold as F, PS sold as C+, everything else Y or Y preferred.

Thanks again for clarifying. I also spoke with a DL agent yesterday, and here is what I learned:
  • For international flights (TATL, TPAC etc.) upgrading from Main Cabin to Prem. Select using SkyMiles has the following policy:
    • If you have a ticket with Y, B, or M fare class, you need 25,000 miles to upgrade.
    • If you have a ticket with H,Q, or K fare class, you need 35,000 miles to upgrade.
    • Any other fare class is non-upgradable.
  • For domestic flights upgrading from Main Cabin to Prem. Select using SkyMiles has the following policy:
    • All fare classes can be considered for a upgrade, but there is no set required number of miles.
    • DMs and PMs are eligible for complimentary upgrades if "PS" is marketed as "C+" (assuming space is available).
Again, here is what I can recollect and wrote down as I was taking notes...these policies are not officially published in DL's website AFAIK.

Agreed, I don't believe they are -- thanks for the DPs, have added them to the MUA thread wiki.

I asked about this in another thread and posters who seem closer to DL than me stated that due to Covid, most likely DL won't be reconfiguring the 763s any time soon

If I were a gambler I’d bet the 763s are currently flying in their final configuration.

That's what the seatmaps show, the old configuration; I don't think a single 763 has been retrofitted yet with the new DL One and PS

I think cmd320's point is that they likely never will be, given COVID, cost cutting etc.

Exactly. I think the 763s will likely be relegated to JFK-LAX/SFO for the most part and will remain in their current configuration till death.

Unfortunately there are a lot of the old 763s listed for the tatl schedule next summer... hoping that changes.

As for the domestic, I was on a 764 refurb last month and C+ was going to the PS seats, so if you were pm/dm you got a comp upgrade. The actual normal C+ seats are just labeled as preferred so any elite can select those.

May I ask which route did you fly? I can’t see any domestic routes out of JFK....unless I’m missing something (highly likely).

Not JFK, but there’s regularly one on SLC-ATL.
