I’ve been getting the same thing, also using Safari on iPad; it’s SO annoying. I’ve found that if I go first to flexible dates (a little box in the lower left when you go into the calendar to choose dates) then select the dates I want, the display is then in the desktop booking format. It’s tedious but get’s around the app format.
